Loo is our 19 year old DSH cat. He is crotchety and cantankerous at the best of times. As he aged, he became more talkative. So much so that overnight he was removed to his own part of the house so the rest of us could get some sleep! We also noticed that the worse he felt, the more he complained. We asked Dr. Karen to remove his voice box, but apparently that is not an approved surgery. Poor Loo was especially having trouble with his mobility - he limped a lot when he got up to walk, and he took an awful long time to get from upright to comfortably lying down. So he complained to us, and we complained to Dr. Karen. She suggested laser therapy, so we tried it. Unbelievably, his mobility was improved after just the first session. It was like voodoo! Loo has almost finished his course of treatment and he is so much happier (and less vocal) now that he is once again getting freedom to roam overnight.
Within 3 weeks of trialing a course of laser treatment therapy our 13 year old Border Collie has gone from decreased activity, and discomfort, to running around like he is 2 years old again. It has been awesome to see the improvements and Kaza is now loving his therapy visits. A huge thanks to Dr. Bardecki for introducing us to this great technology.
